About the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Exam:
The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam assesses the ability to apply understanding of the PRINCE2 Agile Project Management method in a particular context.
- Objective testing
- 50 questions per paper
- 30 marks or more required to pass (out of 50 available) – 60%
- Two-and-a-half hours (150 minutes) duration, no additional reading time
- Open book exam (official PRINCE2 Agile manual only).
Exam Prerequisites:
In order to take the Practitioner exam you must provide proof of achieving one of the below:
- PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam v2 (recommended)
- PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam v1
- PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam v1
Note: You can still undertake the course, but proof of the prerequesite will be required prior to taking the exam.

- Guide agile delivery effectively – leading iterative, collaborative delivery approaches and enabling teams to work in ways consistent with PRINCE2® Agile’s governance model
- Apply stage-based management within an agile delivery context – breaking complex projects into manageable stages while maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to change
- Apply agile principles in practice – translating agile values into concrete actions, team behaviours and delivery practices that drive performance
- Apply agile techniques confidently – including MoSCoW prioritisation, burn charts, Kanban boards and other agile planning and tracking tools
- Ensure business value delivery – applying practices that ensure each increment contributes measurable value aligned to organisational strategy and customer needs
- Support and develop an agile mindset across teams and organisations – fostering a culture where both the agile mindset and agile practices are embedded and sustained
- Engage stakeholders throughout delivery – building early collaboration, managing expectations and using feedback loops to improve outcomes and maintain alignment
- Govern with flexibility – maintaining accountability and transparency while enabling and supporting adaptive delivery approaches within structured project governance
